1. Producer and publication context
OrangeScope content is produced by Sebastian Ehrig, trading as OrangeScope, at the address in the Legal Notice. Dashboard snapshots identify their data date or generation time where technically available. Time-sensitive content should be read only with that timestamp and the selected chart cadence/horizon.
2. Standardized information, not personal advice
All users of a plan receive standardized quantitative output. OrangeScope does not know or assess your income, assets, liabilities, investment objectives, experience, time horizon, portfolio, tax situation, or capacity for loss. Labels such as “buy”, “sell”, “bull”, “bear”, “support”, and “resistance” describe model output and market conditions; they are not instructions tailored to you and do not constitute an offer to enter into a transaction.
OrangeScope is not authorised as a crypto-asset service provider and is not supervised by BaFin for this analytics service. It does not provide personal suitability assessments or recommendations, receive or transmit orders, execute transactions, connect to an exchange or wallet, manage a portfolio, or hold customer money or crypto-assets. A disclaimer cannot change the legal substance of a service; OrangeScope therefore limits the product itself to standardized analytics.
3. Market, product, custody, and execution risks
- Bitcoin can move sharply, trade continuously, and experience gaps, liquidity shortages, exchange failures, manipulation, forks, cyber incidents, or regulatory shocks. A position can lose all of its value.
- Crypto-assets held with a third party are not customer deposits at OrangeScope. Statutory deposit-guarantee or investor-compensation schemes may not protect a loss of crypto-assets at a customer's chosen venue or wallet.
- Leverage and derivatives can amplify losses beyond the amount initially committed and can be liquidated before a model condition reverses. OrangeScope output is based on a BTC/USD spot-market reference and is not a recommendation for a derivative, ETP, tokenized security, or leveraged product.
- Displayed prices may differ from executable prices because of venue differences, spread, slippage, fees, latency, market impact, and taxes.
- Custody, private-key, counterparty, stablecoin, and exchange risks are outside OrangeScope's control.
4. Model and data limitations
Indicators are derived from historical and current third-party data. Sources may revise earlier observations; feeds may be delayed, missing, or inconsistent; resampling and candle boundaries can change a signal date; and cached and refreshed datasets may produce different outputs. A model may react late, overfit past regimes, miss structural breaks, or generate false and conflicting signals.
Support, resistance, volume-profile, trend, momentum, sentiment, and macro measures depend on the selected timeframe and calculation settings. A level is an analytical reference, not a guaranteed floor, ceiling, stop, or executable order price. An invalidation reference in a notification is likewise a standardized model level; it is not a personalized stop-loss and no order is created at that price.
5. Scenarios and analog frequencies
Bull, base, and bear paths are conditional planning frameworks. Historical outlook percentages summarize how temporally separated historical matches behaved over the stated horizon. They are not calibrated promises that a future event will occur with that probability. Ranges and next levels can change when market data, timeframe, or conditions change.
6. Historical signals and backtests
Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Backtests may benefit from assumptions that are unavailable in live trading and may not fully account for fees, spread, slippage, latency, taxes, liquidity, missed execution, or data revisions. Unless expressly stated, displayed returns are model comparisons and not results achieved in a customer account.
7. Methodology, updates, and notification delivery
OrangeScope distinguishes source observations from derived model output in its interface and methodology materials. The Approach section and accompanying product notes describe signal paths, horizons, and material methodology changes at a high level without disclosing proprietary strategy rules. Data and output are updated according to the dashboard cadence and source availability.
Where a plan includes alerts, Buy/Sell messages are generated only after a newly completed daily signal is confirmed by a scheduled analysis. Drawdown-risk and breakout alerts depend on crossings of the then-current scenario levels; market-phase alerts depend on the weekly Gaussian channel; macro alerts depend on changes in the displayed summary states. These thresholds and states can change when data is refreshed or revised and do not guarantee that a move will continue. Email and SMS can be delayed, blocked, duplicated, or fail because of market-data, network, mailbox, carrier, device, or provider conditions. Check the dashboard and current market price independently; alert delivery is not continuous real-time monitoring.
8. Conflicts, corrections, and market integrity
OrangeScope is funded through access subscriptions. It does not accept payment from a crypto issuer or trading venue to make an undisclosed positive or negative call. If sponsored content, an issuer relationship, a material commercial relationship, or another specific conflict is introduced, it will be clearly identified with the affected content. The operator and contributors may have personal exposure to Bitcoin or related assets; users should treat that as a potential conflict and not as evidence supporting any analysis.
OrangeScope does not knowingly publish false or misleading market information or trade for the purpose of benefiting from an artificial effect of a publication. Material data or calculation errors will be corrected when identified. Source-data revisions, methodology changes, and corrected historical outputs may cause an earlier chart or signal to differ from a later recalculation.
9. Your decision
Verify current prices and source data independently, consider the full downside, avoid committing funds you cannot afford to lose, and obtain independent financial, legal, and tax advice where appropriate. OrangeScope cannot replace regulated advice based on your personal circumstances. Questions about a disclosure may be sent to info@orangescope.de.
